Channel My Lupus is a nonprofit organization that stands with those affected by lupus, while sharing their stories and building awareness. Through video documentation and public events, Channel My Lupus has increased the knowledge of lupus and the various impacts it has on the body. Contributions are used to provide medications and medical treatment to those in need. Through Channel My Lupus, no one will ever feel alone again.
What is Lupus?
A chronic autoimmune disease, that can affect the joints, skin, brain, lungs, kidneys, and blood vessels, causing widespread inflammation and tissue damage in the affected organ.
Who does it affect
Approximately 1.5 million Americans, and at least five million people worldwide.Of that number, ninety percent of people living with lupus are women.
